    HEAD OF MARKETING

    ROBN (www.gorobn.com) is seeking an experienced, autonomous head of marketing to own the entire customer funnel, driving revenue and ubiquitous brand awareness as we launch a first-of-its-kind wearable for people who love to be active. This position is responsible for developing customer-centric programming to build profitable, long-term customer relationships.

    ROBN is new to market and we are all hands on deck. This is a vital role with the opportunity to work closely with the founder and product team to shape ROBN at the highest level, with the expectation to own day-to-day execution as we build the team. The ideal candidate is happiest in startup mode, thriving in a fast-paced and sometimes ambiguous environment.

    You will oversee all channels of B2C marketing and ensure they are cohesively effective.

    RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

    • Brand development: narrative, positioning, look & feel of public content, tone of voice
    • Templatize product launch go-to-market strategy: gameplan across media (paid, owned and earned) as well as non-traditional engagement such as influencers/seeding and PR 
    • Long-term online retail strategy to drive traffic, awareness and revenue including a point of view on e-commerce best practices such as Amazon and misc online reviews
    • Develop and evaluate KPIs for the business including lifetime customer value, net promoter score and retention rate
    • Manage Sr. Digital Manager and future marketing teammates
    • Planning, budgeting, campaign development and reporting to wider team

      EXPERIENCE

      • 10-15 years in marketing management required, with significant time owning online strategy for B2C goods
      • Background in social commerce, sporting goods, tech hardware or consumer health/wellness strongly preferred; personal interest in outdoor or physical activity a big plus
      • Proven track record of developing, launching and managing truly innovative digital programs for a consumer product, driving sales and brand awareness/love
      • Deep understanding of today’s social shopper landscape, from Instagram to TikTok
      • Fluent in best practices for digital sales ecosystem including user acquisition, SEO, Google Ads/ Google Shopping, email & CRM
      • Strong analytical skills & measurement planning experience

          SR SOCIAL MARKETING & COMMUNITY MANAGER

          ROBN (www.gorobn.com) is seeking an experienced, creative Senior Social Marketing & Community Manager to own social media strategy and execution: building community and ubiquitous brand awareness to drive purchase as we launch a first-of-its-kind wearable for people who love to be active. 

          Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will own the ROBN persona across earned and owned social channels. This is a critical position with the opportunity to not only foster a passionate community from the beginning, but shape and execute a social engagement plan with direct impact on brand growth. The ideal candidate is happiest in startup mode, thriving in a fast-paced and sometimes ambiguous environment. If you love to tell visually compelling stories while using data and paid content to grow an authentic community, this is the role for you. 

          RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

          • Templatize digital go-to-market for product launch: embedding the brand narrative throughout strategic campaigns on owned and earned channels and sponsored content across Instagram, Tik Tok, Facebook etc.
          • Nurture an active, authentic ROBN community. Build relationships with influencers in the active, outdoor, wellness spaces as well as those leading the culture - skateboarders, fashion, musicians, etc. 
          • Daily social channel engagement and maintenance, creation of unique content via microinfluencers, friends of ROBN and within our brand narrative (especially on Instagram Stories)
          • Develop and evaluate KPIs for our social strategy including brand sentiment/ awareness and meaningful engagement metrics
          • Planning, budgeting, campaign development and reporting to wider team

            EXPERIENCE

            • 5-8 years in digital and social strategy for B2C goods required
            • Proven track record of developing, launching and managing truly innovative digital programs for a consumer product, driving brand awareness/love
            • Experience working with microinfluencers and community ownership required
            • Background in social commerce, sporting goods, tech hardware or consumer health/wellness strongly preferred; personal interest in outdoor or physical activity a big plus
            • Excellent short-form writing and creative content development
            • Deep understanding of today’s social shopper landscape, from Instagram to TikTok
            • Familiarity with digital ad strategy, SEO and visibility strategy appreciated but not required

              • Both left- and right- brained. You know where it’s worth spending a limited budget to growth hack and get the right eyes on the ROBN brand.
              • Comfortable in a flat organization: you relish the chance to build out a completely new area of ROBN marketing strategy and do not wait for direction. You take pride in your work and see constructive feedback as collaborative.
